The Kingsley Bate Essex and Classic Teak 7-Piece Dining Ensemble pairs a 42" round Essex teak dining table with two Classic teak dining armchairs and two Classic teak dining side chairs, plus a 9' teak market umbrella and base. Seat cushions and the umbrella canopy come in your choice of Grade A fabric.
About the Classic Collection:
The Kingsley Bate Classic Collection is a solid teak collection of traditional designs with touches of American Craftsman style. The collection includes a dining armchair and dining side chair, an adjustable chaise lounge with optional arms and tray, and coffee, side and console tables to complete the grouping.

Kingsley Bate rates the teak frames as suitable for diverse weather climates, including salt air, rain and snow. The included seat cushions and canopy are covered in Grade A outdoor fabric.

Kingsley Bate holds a place in Frontera's curation as the American company that pioneered the use of Javanese teak, partnering with the Indonesian government in 1983 to establish a sustainable harvesting program still in use today. Each teak piece is joined using traditional mortise-and-tenon construction and finished by hand — a technique that reinforces the wood's natural strength without relying on hardware alone — while the collection also extends into stainless steel and all-weather wicker for a broader range of settings. Care & Maintenance
New Teak Furniture: Teak is rich in natural oils, and some may surface during the first few rainfalls or humid days. This is normal and stops once the teak begins to weather.
Weathering: Left outdoors, teak weathers to a silver-gray patina, usually within nine to twelve months. Small surface cracks ("checking"), a slightly raised grain after the first rains, and water spots are normal. They're cosmetic and even out over time. To keep the golden-brown color, apply Kingsley Bate Teak Protector each season.
Cleaning Teak: Rinse with a garden hose (never high pressure, which can erode the wood). Scrub with a soft bristle brush and a solution of 2/3 cup laundry detergent (or 1/4 cup high-efficiency detergent) and 1/4 cup bleach in 1 gallon of warm water, then rinse thoroughly. For tougher stains, Kingsley Bate Teak Cleaner removes the patina and restores the golden-brown color. Don't oil teak or use oil-based sealers, which can lead to mildew.
Covers: Custom-fit protective covers are recommended when the furniture isn't in use for long periods. Make sure the furniture is clean and dry before covering it, and remove covers from time to time so the furniture can air out, especially after rain.
Winter Storage: Teak can stay outdoors year-round. If you prefer to store it, use a dry, unheated garage or shed, or a breathable cover. Clean and dry it before storing. In spring, check the hardware and tighten any loose bolts by hand.
