Frontera.com

Frontera is a luxury outdoor furniture company that has furnished fine homes, hotels and resorts since 1992. Founded in Houston and now based near Austin, Texas, Frontera curates heirloom-quality outdoor patio furniture from the world’s most respected makers and crafts its own signature line, the World’s Finest Rocking Chairs, from solid Robinia hardwood.

Frontera both makes and curates. Our own World’s Finest collection is designed in-house and proven on the porches of America’s finest resorts, and every brand we carry meets one standard: if we wouldn’t put it on our own porch, patio or pool deck, it doesn’t make the cut. Add more than 30 years of expertise and a concierge-style Frontera Care team, and you get guidance from selection to delivery.

Frontera.com has been one of the leading destinations for high-end outdoor furniture online for more than three decades. We offer luxury patio furniture, rocking chairs, dining sets, umbrellas, fire features and outdoor games, with free shipping on orders over $99, financing through Shop Pay and white glove delivery available nationwide.

Frontera is an authorized dealer for some of the best outdoor furniture brands in the world, including Kingsley Bate, Barlow Tyrie, Ledge Lounger, Treasure Garden, Jardinico, RS Barcelona and Bromic. We also make our own World’s Finest collection in solid Robinia, including rockers, Adirondack chairs, Chippendale seating, benches and planters.

The World’s Finest Rocker is Frontera’s signature rocking chair, perfected over 30 years. It’s crafted from solid, FSC-certified Robinia hardwood with curved seat slats, a contoured headrest and a deep, balanced rock. It’s widely considered one of the best outdoor rocking chairs made, and you’ll find it at the Grand Hotel, The Broadmoor and Augusta National.

Robinia is a European hardwood and one of the most durable outdoor woods in the world. It rivals teak in hardness and natural weather resistance, needs no chemical treatment and ages into a rich patina. Unlike teak, it can be painted, and because it’s a fast-growing temperate hardwood, it doesn’t contribute to tropical deforestation. Frontera’s Robinia is FSC-certified and hand-selected by certified foresters. Explore the Robinia outdoor furniture collection.

Frontera furniture is trusted by some of America’s most celebrated properties, including the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, The Broadmoor, The Greenbrier, Augusta National Golf Club and Ocean House. Two hundred World’s Finest Rockers line the Grand Hotel’s porch, the longest in the world, and our rockers also welcome travelers in airports and national parks across the country.
