The Kingsley Bate Tivoli Stainless Steel Sling Dining Side Chair is an armless, stacking outdoor dining chair with a brushed stainless steel frame and a Batyline™ sling seat and back.
About the Tivoli Collection:
The Kingsley Bate Tivoli Collection, designed by John Caldwell, is a modern collection of #304 stainless steel in a brushed matte finish, accented with teak. Its dining, bar and club chairs, club ottoman and chaise lounge have Batyline™ slings, and its modular sectional has thick cushions. The collection includes a dining armchair and dining side chair, a bar chair, a club chair and club ottoman, a chaise lounge, and a modular sectional of armless chair, square and curved corner chairs and square and curved ottomans that can be arranged as an L-shaped sectional, a rounded sectional or a circular daybed, with dining, coffee and side tables to complete the grouping.

Care & Maintenance
Stainless Steel: Kingsley Bate uses #304 stainless steel with a brushed matte finish. It isn't marine grade, so it isn't recommended within 10 miles of the ocean (due to salt air) or near chlorinated or saltwater pools. Like any metal, it can get very hot in direct sun, so take care touching the frame, especially with bare skin.
Cleaning Stainless Steel: Rinse the frame with fresh water at low hose pressure, keeping the spray off any teak and fabric. Wash with mild detergent and warm water using a soft cloth or sponge, always wiping in the direction of the steel's grain, then rinse and dry thoroughly. A stainless steel cleaner/polisher removes fingerprints and smudges; keep it off the teak and fabric.
Brown Spots: Infrequent cleaning can leave small brown spots on the steel. They're cosmetic and normal for outdoor stainless steel. If regular cleaning doesn't remove them, try a fine-grit non-metallic pad (such as Scotch-Brite) with the detergent solution, then a non-abrasive stainless steel cleanser such as Bar Keepers Friend®, always wiping with the grain. Never use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, highly abrasive cloths or a pressure washer.
Cleaning Slings: Clean slings about once a month. Rinse from the top down with a low-pressure hose. Then clean in a circular motion with a soft, non-metallic brush or sponge, using 1 tablespoon liquid dish detergent and 2 tablespoons bleach in 1 gallon of warm water. Rinse thoroughly and let air dry. Keep suntan oils and lotions off the sling, and clean promptly if contact occurs.
Covers: Custom-fit protective covers are recommended when the furniture isn't in use for long periods. Make sure the furniture is clean and dry before covering it, and remove covers from time to time so the furniture can air out, especially after rain.
Winter Storage: In climates with snow and freezing temperatures, store stainless steel furniture in a dry garage, shed or basement. Keep it upright so water drains; stored upside down, water can collect and freeze inside the frame and damage it. Clean and dry everything before storing. If indoor storage isn't possible, use breathable covers. Before bringing the furniture back out, check the foot glides and replace any that are worn.
