Kingsley Bate Warranty: Cushions, Pillows and Furniture Covers - 1 year warranty against defects in material or workmanship for residential or commercial applications (teak oil stains not covered) What Is Not Covered: This warranty does not cover damages from freight/shipping, unreasonable/abusive use, acts of God, improper care, freeze damage, mildew, normal wear, fading/stretching/pilling of fabrics, damage from chemicals (e.g., ammonia cleaners, suntan oils), improper repairs, post-purchase modifications, or a failure to provide reasonable and necessary care and maintenance as outlined at www.kingsleybate.com. Damage caused by removing the cushion fill or machine washing the fabric casings is not covered.

New Teak Furniture:

Teak's natural oils can stain fabric. Before placing cushions on new teak furniture, wipe the frame with a damp cloth. During the first few rainfalls, bring cushions indoors until the teak begins to weather. Teak oil stains aren't covered under warranty.

Drying Wet Cushions:

Unzip the cushion, drain any loose water, then stand it on edge, zipper side down, in a dry, sunny spot. Drying typically takes 24–48 hours, depending on fabric, fill and weather.

Cleaning:

Keep the fill inside the cushion and never use a washing machine, dryer, iron or steam. Use water no hotter than 100°F and avoid bristle brushes. For fresh spills, blot (don't rub), clean with mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly and air dry. For routine cleaning, use 1/4 cup mild soap (such as Woolite®) per gallon of lukewarm water, wipe with a sponge and rinse. For mildew, add 1 cup of bleach to that solution, let it soak in for 15 minutes, then wipe clean and rinse thoroughly.

Pilling:

Acrylic fabrics can pill with normal use. Pills are cosmetic and can be removed with a fabric pill remover.

Winter Storage:

Clean and dry cushions thoroughly, then store them in a dry basement, garage or shed, in a cushion box, or under a breathable protective cover.
